We are logistics Multinational Company in Indonesia, leading the logistics industry (Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Warehouse) is looking for Supervisor of Customs Ocean Import.

* Role and responsibility

• Understand the rules and regulations of the import process
• Develop and ensure implantation of all import policies
• Documenting shipment to ensure that the shipping process complies with customs regulation and provisions
• Inform clients about rates, insurance and quotas
• Categorize shipment according to the rate coding system
• Consult with customs agents to facilitate delivery of goods
• Advise clients on how to reduce duties and taxes owed
• Prepare goods for shipping, ensuring the use of the best and most economical packaging
• Maintain regular communication with team, clients and prepare reporting for KPI Performance review

 

* Knowledge and Skills

• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
• Able to work with numbers and perform basic calculations
• Negotiation skills with Customs agent, overseas agent, carrier and clients
• Computer skills and good analytical skills
• Understanding of global supply and logistics
• Experienced at least 3 years in logistics (especially ocean import)
• Male is preferable
