The job holder responsibilities are:
-Ensure technical and product data is properly maintained, distributed and adhered as per Schaeffler guidelines.
-Completion of design and engineering briefs; and conversion into design specifications.
-Preparation of customer-specific design solutions and formulation of technical proposals in close consultation with external sales and customers
-Handling of processes in IT systems (e.g. SAP) per accordance with the process landscape.
-Responsible support in the OGP, RFQ and Initial Order Process in region/SEA
-Networked in the respective specialist area/region and has appropriate contacts within this specialist area/region and beyond (e.g. Engineering helpdesk SEA)
-Supporting quality assurance in the RFQ process (e.g. contract review).
-Supporting quality assurance in the IPR process (e.g. PEP)
-Supporting measures in obtaining orders
-Obtaining information on competitors (market analysis).
-Preparing documentation and presentations.
-Presentations jointly with or in consultation with the external sales engineer. provides consultancy to his/ her colleagues.
-Direct selling support to the external sales engineer (e.g. on enquiries).
-Determine and realize sales possibilities from technical perspective plus considering customer’s objectives (analysis of customer products and processes in relation to optimization possibilities and opportunities for Schaeffler solutions).
-Supporting regional marketing strategy (e.g. trade shows, sales events)
-Support Industrial OEM & MC in relation to do preparing presentations & consultation with end customer.
The candidate requirements:
-Graduate in mechanical engineering (or mechatronic) with approximate 3-5 years of industrial experience in mechanical design, engineering calculations, sales support activities, maintenance services and project development/management.
-Good knowledge of rotary and linear bearings is an advantage.
-Team player, can do attitude, motivated, inter-personal skills, good communication skills, logical and innovation mind set, self-disciplined and culture awareness.
